Astrophe is a creative fashion project run single handedly by an 18-year-old, award-winning fashion designer fusing art with innovative design to make garments with impact. As a recipient of national merit awards for his work in the arts, the faceless self-taught designer creates with a goal to redefine the conventions of fashion, translating his surroundings into art. His upcoming collection, 04-A (Artisanal), is a creative reflection of the concept of war, using fashion as a medium to create unique narratives and learning opportunities through the characterization of individual fashion looks. The collection uses historical reference, unique garment construction, and inventive storytelling to create an impactful experience which extends beyond just the garments.

What inspired you to become a fashion designer?
