Meihana

I make clothes by dyeing, unraveling, and mending tenugui hand towels, kimonos, and flags that have been popular in Japan for centuries. I feel warmth and positivity in the designs left behind by our ancestors, which contain the wishes and thoughts of the people. I hope that the clothes that someone once loved can be delivered to someone else in a new way.
