SOROR COLLECTIVE

Collective of Franco-Taiwanese girls graduated from L’Atelier Chardon Savard in France, SOROR COLLECTIVE is the meeting point of a common vision: GENDER EQUALITY.
Let’s be human, let’s be equal, that is the attitude and the spirit of the brand.
The brand has no gender specificity, it sends a very committed message on gender equality: Humanity is the basis of its inspiration. Strong words are plastered throughout the silhouettes, showing a fierce commitment to its ideals. All the looks are inspired by the nuances of the skin. Scars, stretch marks, and so on.. are just multiple examples of the brand’s deep inspiration.
Coil uses as its logo, symbol of a feminism assumed. The collective is composed of girls, so it is a symbol as a very particularly meaning for them, the meaning of the choice.
SOROR COLLECTIVE promotes and practices the use of recycled fabrics and material. A part of the collection is always made of patchwork pullovers destocking.
This year’s collection is DO NOT GET ME WRONG, strong in ideals in a world still dominated by prejudices. The collection redefines the lines and curves of the body by cuts, shapes and overlays. Body elements considered unsightly are valued, such as embroidered stretch marks, the beads become a multipocket detachable bag according to the desire, a print composed of hybrid beings … The inspirations are varied but solely directed at the human being. Some strong volumes, such as the female genitals become a headgear. It’s just slightly provoking.
Bags and jewelry are made in laser-cut wood and recycled plastics, adding modern value to the classical sides of the brand. The brand touches many areas, it designs clothes, bags, jewelry and headwear.
SOROR COLLECTIVE is a young brand with a bright future that will be showing for the first time at Vancouver Fashion Week.
