Masami Marusawa graduated from Tama University in Japan with a major in
Business and furthered his education at Bunka Fashion College in Japan. His interest in both designing and making clothes was developed by whole experience as a wardrobe stylist on a lot of Japanese TV series. After graduating from the school, he worked as a wardrobe stylist at Costume company in Japan and experienced several kinds of popular Japanese TV series. However, he struggled with finding the perfect outfit for a character from among the ready-made garments, and it led him to being interested in making clothes and motivated him being a designer. After he left the job, he lived in NYC while experiencing a fashion stylist assistant internship and presenting his styling collections at Twelv magazine. He has also started to design and make clothes based on a lot of inspiration from experience in both JAPAN and NYC. He is currently sharing his collections through social media from Japan and
finally launched his label at Vancouver Fashion Week. This is the first time to introduce his collections in public.
