Since 2017 that she studied Fashion Design in La Salle College, formerly Art Institute of Vancouver, her work became designing art clothing for women. In November 2021, she founded her slow fashion brand as an enterprise to trade in a fairly manner with suppliers, manufacturers, and artisans.
In November 2021 too, Maria traveled to attend the Dubai International Apparel and Textile Fair, where she fell in love with the beautiful landscapes, Architecture, culture and people from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. From this trip, she got all the inspiration for her SS23 womenswear collection to be displayed at Vancouver Fashion Week.
