A fashion designer based in Japan. Driven by the desire to “encourage people to take the
first step toward self-expression,” she entered the fashion industry and focused on the
kimono, a symbol of Japanese identity. The kimono, which has been passed down through
the ages, now lies dormant in many people's closets. She breathes new life into these
unused kimonos, creating clothing that instills confidence, empowers people, and serves as
a means of self-expression for others.
Additionally, she focuses on costume provision and collaborations with artists, working with
creators across various fields to expand the possibilities of free self-expression. In 2024, she
will serve as director for a fashion show with 1,000 participants, and in 2025, she will host a
collaboration event with artists from diverse fields.
“I want to spread a culture where everyone values themselves and can express themselves
freely.” By blending tradition and innovation, she pursues true value.
