What inspired you to become a fashion designer?

My passion for fashion began with my mother's sewing, which inspired my appreciation for craftsmanship and storytelling. I believe clothing can do more than dress people—it can communicate identity, resilience, and hope through design.

How would you describe your design style?

My design style combines architectural tailoring with emotional storytelling. I balance structure and softness to create garments that feel refined while exploring women's identity, resilience, and empowerment.

What can people expect from your latest collection?

BODIES IN QUESTION explores how women's bodies are shaped by society, culture, and history. Through strong tailoring, thoughtful silhouettes, and subtle movement, the collection invites people to question expectations while celebrating women's autonomy.

Why did you choose to explore society's expectations of women's bodies?

I wanted to examine how women are constantly observed, judged, and defined by external expectations. My collection asks what remains of identity beneath those pressures and how fashion can help women reclaim their own narrative.

How does architectural tailoring help tell your story?

Structure is a key metaphor in my work. Strong shoulders and defined silhouettes represent the systems that shape women's lives, while movement within the garments reflects resilience, adaptation, and the freedom to redefine identity.
