Miyuki Terao began studying fashion design and sewing at the age of 15, and went on to build her career as an ODM designer at a Tokyo-based OEM company. After leaving the company upon marriage, she launched her own remake brand, “Remake Innovation Project,” and is now based in Shizuoka. Since founding the brand, she has remained committed to giving new life to garments that would otherwise be discarded, through daily creation and participation in local popup events.
