Debuting on October 23rd in Vancouver for VFW, "RUN FOR THE HILLS" the Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collection by The World of Outlaws, is a deeply personal journey of self-discovery. The collection transcends streetwear clichés by drawing from the childhood memories and environments that shaped its creators, brothers Miguel and Francis Estilong. By refining past work and blending western and utilitarian influences with modern silhouettes, "RUN FOR THE HILLS" cements the distinctive Outlaws identity. Each piece in the collection serves as a building block in the brand's evolving ecosystem, representing the intersection where tradition meets innovation on the path to becoming a true Outlaw. "RUN FOR THE HILLS" is not just a collection but a bold statement of self-expression and innovation.
Founded in 2018 by brothers Miguel and Francis Estilong, The World of Outlaws is a contemporary high-street brand based in Vancouver, B.C, that reimagines the generational outlaw. Driven by their passion for fashion, the brothers relocated from Edmonton to Vancouver, where they honed their craft with formal training at Blanche Macdonald in fashion marketing and BCIT in graphic design. This journey laid the groundwork for their brand, which blends personal narratives with traditional design elements, challenging social norms and celebrating individuality. Drawing inspiration from the rebellious spirit of the Old West, The World of Outlaws encourages breaking away from the pack in the pursuit of identity. Every garment is meticulously handmade, combining classic design with a modern, timeless essence unique to Outlaws.

What inspired you to become fashion designers?
Miguel and Francis Estilong’s passion for fashion led them from Edmonton to Vancouver, where they pursued formal training and developed their creative skills. Their personal experiences and interest in individuality eventually became the foundation for The World of Outlaws.
How would you describe your design style?
The designs combine western and utilitarian influences with modern silhouettes and contemporary high street fashion. Personal narratives and traditional design elements are reworked to create a distinctive style centered on individuality and self expression.
