As a fifth-generation rancher from West Texas, I've lived the essence of work hard - play hard my entire life. Now, based in San Antonio and Aspen, you can find me on any given day doing my daily routine, enjoying life’s extravagances, and everything in between. In the past, this would mean multiple wardrobe changes a day and sacrificing beauty for function depending on the role. No more.
I've spent a lot of time working on the family ranch. I thrive when spending time outside tending to our ranch – but I grew tired of wearing dickies or workout clothes. I started searching for something different. I wanted function, I wanted comfort, and I wanted style. And I wanted it all in one.
I've always been obsessed with textiles and design. Inspired by what was missing from my own closet, I created Mrs Momma Bear Workwear. This fashion-forward clothing enables anyone to take on anything that our busy days throw at us. You can now move freely through the day while never compromising on style. This line exists to be functional, durable, and beautiful.

What inspired you to become a fashion designer?
Growing up as a fifth generation rancher in West Texas, Lee Evans Lee wanted clothing that offered function, comfort, and style in one. Unable to find what she needed, she drew on her longtime interest in textiles and design to create her own pieces.
How would you describe your design style?
The designs combine the comfort and flexibility of activewear with polished, fashion forward style. Each piece is created to be functional, durable, and beautiful while allowing women to move comfortably throughout their day.
What can people expect from your Vancouver Fashion Week collection?
The FW24 presentation showcased the brand’s approach to high performance fashion, combining comfort and functionality with elevated style. The pieces are designed to move easily between different parts of a busy day without sacrificing appearance.
What materials help give your designs their signature comfort and flexibility?
The pieces use a blend of nylon, Lycra, and spandex to provide comfort, stretch, and easy care. This athletic inspired material allows tailored pieces to offer greater freedom of movement.
How do you bring distinctive details into your performance focused pieces?
Alongside performance fabrics, the collection incorporates details such as bold colours and hand cut fringe. These elements add a more expressive fashion element to functional pieces such as jumpsuits, pants, blazers, and shirts.
