What inspired you to create Morning Nudes?
Tyler Dawn’s experience as an international model inspired her to create a brand that moves away from posed and perfected images. Morning Nudes instead celebrates real bodies, natural beauty, and a more authentic approach to fashion.
How would you describe your design style?
The designs blend sustainable swimwear with a bold, relaxed aesthetic. Swimwear is often styled with everyday streetwear, reflecting Tyler’s tomboy style and creating pieces that feel versatile beyond the beach.
What can people expect from your Vancouver Fashion Week collection?
The SS25 collection combined swimwear with streetwear and comfortable styling to show the versatility of the pieces. Relaxed silhouettes and neutral tones reflected an easygoing approach that could transition from the beach to everyday wear.
Why is sustainability so important to Morning Nudes?
Living in the tropics allowed Tyler to see firsthand how pollution affects marine life. The brand primarily uses ECONYL regenerated nylon and biodegradable or compostable packaging to help reduce its environmental footprint.
What does the name “Morning Nudes” represent?
The playful name is an ode to self love and reflects the brand’s focus on authenticity and natural beauty. It encourages people to move beyond airbrushed ideals and feel confident in their own skin.
