What inspired you to create MJ Abaya Line?

The SS26 collection presents a bold contemporary interpretation of the traditional abaya. It features laser cutting, hand embellishment, strong tailoring, and four distinct mini lines that explore different expressions of modern power dressing.
How do you balance Emirati heritage with contemporary fashion?
Traditional values and Emirati identity remain at the heart of the designs, while modern silhouettes, innovative cuts, luxurious fabrics, and contemporary details bring a fresh perspective to the abaya.
What does the abaya represent in your design philosophy?
