LEIRAY is a wedding dress brand built on the concept of “dresses that are only complete when worn by the bride,” designed to bring out each bride’s inner beauty and unique charm. More than just visually stunning, these gowns reflect the personal stories and individuality of the wearer, creating dresses that illuminate one of life’s most special moments.
Founder and designer Eri Suzuki spent 17 years in Tokyo as a women’s apparel designer, creating numerous hit products and consistently ranking high on major e-commerce platforms. While this brought her great fulfillment, her passion for fashion and craftsmanship, along with
her dedication to her customers, inspired her to pursue something even more personal. This desire led her to transition into bridal wear, a field where each creation holds profound emotional significance. After teaching herself dress design, she launched LEIRAY in 2022.
Drawing on her extensive knowledge and experience from the apparel industry, she pays meticulous attention to every detail, from fabric selection to intricate design elements. She focuses on silhouettes and balance that highlight the bride’s inner beauty and individuality.
Combining timeless elegance with contemporary sensibilities, LEIRAY’s dresses inspire confidence and offer a unique, radiant charm, earning widespread admiration from brides.
In its third year, LEIRAY is taking on its first international challenge by participating in Vancouver Fashion Week. With a timeless collection that blends simplicity with striking individuality, the brand aims to share its vision with brides around the world, transcending cultures and eras.

What inspired you to become a fashion designer?
A passion for creating clothes and a desire to bring joy to the people who wear them shaped the path toward fashion design. After 17 years as a womenswear designer in the apparel industry, the desire to create something more personal led to the launch of LEIRAY in 2022.

The style combines timeless elegance with contemporary sensibilities, focusing on clean silhouettes, careful proportions, and details that highlight each bride’s individuality. The designs aim to bring out the bride’s inner beauty and unique charm.
What can people expect from your latest collection?
The latest collection, less is, explores minimalist bridal fashion through clean silhouettes, refined tailoring, and a reduced use of excessive decoration. The collection also includes shorter and mini dress designs, offering a more flexible approach to contemporary bridal wear.
What does it mean for a dress to be complete when worn by the bride?
The dress is designed around the individual bride rather than simply the garment itself. Her personality, physique, and personal story are considered so that the dress becomes a reflection of her individuality when she wears it.
How do you create wedding dresses that reflect each bride’s individuality?
Each dress can be adjusted to the bride’s size, materials, colours, and design preferences. The process focuses on creating a personalized dress that suits her physique and the setting of her wedding.
