What inspired you to become a fashion designer?

The body has always been a central source of inspiration. A background connected to tailoring and creativity, including a great grandmother’s sewing machine and vintage fashion books, helped shape an interest in exploring the body through clothing.

How would you describe your design style?

The style is maximalist, experimental, and focused on the body. Layered and textured garments, exaggerated silhouettes, bold colours, and sculptural details are used to challenge conventional ideas of beauty and body shape.

The collection explores diverse body aesthetics through layered and textured garments. Hand sewn layers, laser cut elements, and details resembling falling skin create movement and unusual silhouettes, while bold colours and maximalist proportions emphasize the body as a space for personal expression.

How does the body influence your creative process?

The body is approached as a diverse and fluid territory rather than something defined by conventional gender or beauty standards. Clothing is used to explore different shapes, curves, layers, and irregularities, creating new possibilities for expressing the body.

Maximalism allows texture, colour, and silhouette to become central elements of the designs. Large proportions, striking textures, and bright colours create visual impact and help express different interpretations of the human body.
