What inspired you to become a fashion designer?
I was drawn to fashion from a young age and eventually chose to pursue my passion for designing wedding and evening gowns. After more than ten years working in the fashion industry, I created Eleven S to bring Vietnamese bridal fashion to a wider international audience.
How would you describe your design style?
My style combines contemporary elegance with traditional Vietnamese values. I focus on sophisticated wedding and evening gowns with delicate embroidery, embellishments, detailed shaping, and luxurious fabrics.
What can people expect from your latest collection?
My latest collection, Radiant Symphony, features twelve wedding designs inspired by Vietnamese weddings from the 1980s. The collection uses soft white tones, chiffon, silk, pearls from Khánh Hòa, crystals, embroidery, and three dimensional details, while also incorporating Canadian maple leaf motifs.
What inspired you to combine Vietnamese pearls with Canadian maple leaf motifs in Radiant Symphony?
I wanted to create a collection that connected Vietnamese and Canadian culture. I used pearls from Khánh Hòa in Vietnam together with three dimensional maple leaf details to bring elements from both countries into the wedding designs.
What does the name Eleven S represent?
The number 11 represents everlasting love and the idea of two people standing side by side. The letter S represents my hope for Vietnam to become a bright point on the global fashion map.
