Delayne Dixon is a Canadian luxury fashion designer known for bold, one-of-a-kind pieces with a strong feminine edge. Raised on the farm in Fairview, Alberta, she moved to Vancouver at 18 and graduated from the Art Institute of Vancouver's Fashion Design program in 2012. Since then, she has appeared on Project Runway Canada, shown collections at New York and Paris Fashion Weeks, been featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Cosmopolitan, and had a design worn on the Oscars red carpet. Inspired by Alexander McQueen and Thierry Mugler, Dixon loves mixing corsetry, dramatic shapes, repurposed materials and handcrafted details. Through her namesake label, she creates statement pieces that help people feel confident, powerful and unforgettable.

You can expect flowing fabrics, sculpted corsetry, cascading textures, and hanging pearl-and-crystal details. The collection combines shades of white, sand, lavender, and sea green with iridescent surfaces, hand-painted ombre effects, and wet-look silicone finishes.
What inspired the “In the Shallows” collection?
In the Shallows is inspired by the beauty and mystery of the ocean and sand. Mermaid and shell elements appear throughout the collection, creating a dreamy yet powerful exploration of transformation, strength, and untamed femininity.
What materials and techniques are featured in the collection?
The collection incorporates repurposed thrifted materials and hands-on techniques including painting, draping, and hand embellishment. Sculpted corsetry, pearl-and-crystal details, hand-painted ombre effects, and wet-look silicone finishes further shape the collection’s visual language.
