Their design foundation began in Architectural Drafting, where they mastered the art of structure and precision. This was followed by a career in the Culinary Arts, a move that refined their eye for texture, composition, and sensory storytelling.
Now focusing their multidisciplinary expertise on Fashion Design, Benjamin Reitmeier blends structural rigor with fluid aesthetics. Their work treats the silhouette as a living construction, resulting in garments that are as technically sound as they are visually striking.

What inspired you to become a fashion designer?
Fashion became a way for me to explore identity and self-expression. I wanted to create garments that encourage people to embrace change and discover different sides of themselves.
How would you describe your design style?
My design style combines industrial precision with organic warmth. I enjoy contrasting structured materials with soft textures to create modern silhouettes that challenge traditional expectations.
What can people expect from your latest collection?
Someone Else explores personal transformation and the courage to embrace every part of yourself. The collection combines leather, denim, mesh, wool, and silk to express both strength and vulnerability.
Why did you name your debut collection Someone Else?
The collection asks a simple question: Who would you be if you could be someone else? It isn't about pretending to be another person, but about realizing that we all have many different sides within ourselves.
Why do you combine contrasting materials like leather, mesh, wool, and silk?
I use contrasting materials to reflect the complexity of human identity. Combining rugged and delicate fabrics allows each garment to express both strength and vulnerability at the same time.
